Class Description:
Objective: Providing time, space, and support to create wheel-thrown ceramics.
These open-ended wheel throwing classes are for those who have some experience with the basics of throwing. Each class will open with a demonstration or two, but students are encouraged to work on whatever inspires them, with the teacher there to offer guidance, critique, or teach new skills.
Students will have the opportunity to fire their work throughout the course.
Supplies
-An initial 25 lbs. of clay is included with the class tuition, more is available for purchase at WHAT Art School.
Our 8 session ceramics classes include Studio Free Time on Saturdays from 8am-12pm during the run of the class. We have 7 wheels available during that time on a first-come-first-serve basis. There is also table space for those who wish to add to their wheel-thrown creations.
