Course Description:
Objective: Create a felted landscape combining flat wet felting and needle felting techniques
Join us for an immersive three-class workshop dedicated to the captivating art of crafting a wet felted
landscape. This course combines the techniques of flat wet felting and needle felting to help you create a stunning piece of artwork inspired by your favorite landscape photo.
In the first two classes, under the expert guidance of instructor Suzanne Imhoff, you will dive into the flat wet felting process. Here, you will have the opportunity to experiment with a vibrant palette of colors, diverse textures, and various perspectives to construct a rich background for your landscape. This hands-on experience will lay the groundwork for your artistic expression, allowing your imagination to flourish as you work with wool and water to form a cohesive and inspiring backdrop. The third class will build on the foundation you created, focusing on the incorporation of dimensional elements and embellishments to enhance your landscape. You will learn essential needle felting techniques that will enable you to add depth, intricate details, and unique features that breathe life into your artwork.

Rubber gloves if have sensitive hands
Apron - clothes may get wet during the wet felting process
Empty soda bottle with cap
