As the seasons begin to shift, this three-part yoga series invites you to explore a range of

the essence of autumn: a time of reflection, grounding, and transformation. Students will be

encouraged to share feedback to help shape future class offerings at our school.

Class 1: Fire & Focus – Strength and Flow for Autumn Energy

Style: All level Vinyasa Flow

Theme: Harnessing Energy for Change

Duration: About 45-50 minutes of yoga

Description:

Just as autumn calls us to gather energy for the season ahead, this empowering vinyasa flow

channels vitality and focus. Expect dynamic movement, strength-building poses, balance

challenges, and opportunities to stoke your inner fire while cultivating clarity and direction.

Students will reflect on how strong, structured movement helps them focus

or feel empowered. Feedback will explore preferences around physical intensity and how it

relates to seasonal shifts.

Class 2: Ground & Let Go – Flow to Yin

Style: Vinyasa to Yin

Theme: Release & Rooting

Duration: About 45-50 minutes of yoga

Description:

This practice begins with a moderate vinyasa flow to loosen tension and awaken energy, then

eases into long-held yin postures that encourage grounding and surrender. Like the trees

releasing their leaves, we’ll focus on letting go of what no longer serves.

Students will be invited to notice how movement into stillness affects their

body and mood. Feedback will touch on which part of the practice felt most resonant and how

they experience release—physically or emotionally.

Class 3: Slow Flow to Yin – Gentle Flow & Meditation

Style: Gentle Flow into Meditation

Theme: Stillness in Transition

Duration: About 90 minutes with 45-50 minutes of yoga, time for light refreshments and discussion

Description:

As the winds of change swirl around us, this slow, nurturing practice helps calm the nervous

system and turn attention inward. Beginning with gentle movement and breathwork, we’ll settle

into a guided meditation to cultivate a sense of inner stillness and clarity.

Students will explore how combining soft movement and meditation

supports emotional balance. Feedback will include thoughts on stress relief, clarity, and interest

in future meditative or mindfulness-based classes.

Final Reflection & Feedback Circle

To close the series, we’ll invite each student to share their experience—either in writing or

through a brief discussion. This feedback will help guide future offerings that meet our

community where they are, seasonally and energetically.
