Course Description:
Learn the art of embroidery and the joy of creating something by hand. In this class students will learn to embroider different stitches from the most basic to a little more challenging. Using only these stitches, students will learn variations and how to combine stitches to create a colorful floral design. This class will focus on developing craftsmanship, learning technique, and embracing the process. The beauty of handmade is to see the maker’s hand in the work.

ALYCEN BROTHEN is an embroidery and rug hooking artist from Minnesota. She is a passionate learner of handcrafts who has been needleworking since childhood. She believes in embracing the process, turning mistakes into happy accidents, and having fun.
