Class Description:

In this class you will learn to weave a basic 10” ribbed egg basket. All the instructions, tips and supplies you need will be provided. Most of the basket is constructed of natural reeds but you will have a selection of dyed reeds for embellishment.

Includes:

  • All supplies are provided and included with the class price.

What to Bring:

  • Lunch or snack - we will eat while we weave.

  • Bring an apron or wear clothes that can handle some rough wet fibers.

JERI WEBSTER is a multi-media artist residing in Taylors Falls, MN. Webster weaves on a floor loom and beading loom and also enjoys basket weaving. Webster quilts, paints, creates mosaics, 3-D wall sculptures, and outdoor sculptures. Many of Jeri’s art includes aspects of nature.

Jeri creates arts because it’s a voice for people and issues, it educates and brings joy. Each piece has a life she gets pulled into, a conversation that at times continues after its creation. Webster hopes her art will start a conversation with you - inwardly or outwardly, and inform you about the world around you.
